Garden Room CGI

Our latest Garden Room CGI is hot off the presses (well, virtually). Designed and soon to be constructed in Wimbledon, London SW19 (the home of the Wombles and famous for the tennis championships) by Merton based bespoke garden room specialists Finch Partridge. A CGI was required to show how the proposed garden room would look in context for a final design sign-off by the homeowner.

The Design

Finch Partridge were responsible for the position within the garden, the internal layout and the overall garden room design.

Creating the CGI Garden

To keep our CGI cost so low (see Garden Room CGI Cost Breakdown below), soft landscaping (trees, bushes, planting areas) are always at the discretion of our 3D team. However, we will keep the planting areas similar to the existing (or proposed) but without using specific species of plants. For this project, the existing tall tree on the right-hand side of the garden was an important feature for our artists to note.

How the Garden Room CGI was created through our Process:

Step 1 – Information Supply

A pdf plan and pdf elevation were uploaded to our website, along with a site photograph.

Step 2 – View, Component and Material Selection

View Selection

One standard-size view was selected from the four generated by our team.

Component Selection

Photo references were uploaded for:

  • Entrance Door

The patio door was selected from our library in Graphite Grey (RAL 7024)

Material Selection

Photo references were uploaded for:

  • Roof Finish

Manufacturer links were provided for the following:

  • Red Cedar Panelling
  • Anthracite Decking

See Process>> for more information.

Step 3

The final CGI was available for download within seven working days.

Garden Room CGI Cost Breakdown

(Prices shown exclude VAT)

Step 1 (Supply of Project Information) £187.50
Step 2 (Views, Components & Materials selection) £187.50
Total £375.00

CGI for design approval

Black-and-white, flat, technical drawings can be challenging to understand and equally hard to use to approve a design. However, with a CGI, you can see a proposed design realised in 3D in context with the effect of daylight.
